How do I calculate days between two dates?

What counts as a business day?
Business days are Monday through Friday. The calculator counts weekdays in the date range, starting from the start date (inclusive). Public holidays are not excluded since these vary by country and region.
Can I enter dates in any order?
Yes. If your end date is before your start date, the calculator automatically swaps them internally and shows a note. The result is always a positive number of days.
How are "weeks with remainder" calculated?
Weeks = Math.floor(totalDays / 7). The remainder is totalDays mod 7. For example, 16 total days = 2 weeks + 2 days. Similarly, months and years show the complete units plus the remaining days.
